O Holy St. Rita,

exemplary Augustinian Sister,

we honor you for your devotion

to the Passion of Christ.

Although your early life

was filled with disappointment,

frustration, and unceasing tragedy,

you never lost faith and trust in God.

For this you are the patroness
of the impossible,
and our inspiration
and advocate in desperate circumstances.
Then, pray
3 times Our Father...
3 times Hail Mary... and
3 times Glory be...

The Lord's Prayer


Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those
who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

The Hail Mary


Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou among women,

Holy Mary, Mother of God,

Ó poderosa e gloriosa Santa Rita,

eis a vossos pés um alma desamparada que,
necessitando de auxílio,
a vós recorre com a doce esperança
de ser atendida por vós
que tendes o incomparável título
de SANTA DOS CASOS IMPOSSÍVEIS E DESESPERADOS.

Ó cara Santa, interessai-vos pela minha causa,
intercedei junto a Deus
para que me conceda a graça
de que tanto necessito (dizer a graça que deseja).

Não permitais que tenha de me afastar
dos vossos pés sem ser atendido.
Se houver em mim algum obstáculo
que me impeça de obter a graça que imploro,
auxiliai-me para que o afaste.

Envolvei o meu pedido
em vosso preciosos méritos
e apresentai-o a vosso celeste esposo, Jesus,
em união com a vossa prece.

Ó Santa Rita,
eu ponho em vós toda a minha confiança;
por vosso intermédio,
espero tranquilamente a graça que vos peço.
